The Jester – Character Makeup & Hair Design
Bold theatrical character inspired by traditional jester design, combining graphic face painting with exaggerated costume elements. The look features a stark white base with symmetrical red and black detailing to enhance expression and movement. Hair was styled into two structured buns, forming the base for a handcrafted jester hat, designed and created to complement the character. Surtur – Character SFX Design
Mythology-inspired SFX character based on Surtur, featuring a lava-textured skin effect created through layered colouring and detailed crack work to mimic molten rock. Sculpted horn prosthetics enhance the silhouette, while high-contrast black and fiery orange tones create depth and intensity. The look combines body painting and prosthetic application to produce a powerful, high-impact creature suitable for film, fantasy and creature design.
The Hidden One – Creature SFX Design
Horror-inspired creature designed to evoke a lurking presence beneath children’s beds. The look combines prosthetic application with detailed paint work to create decayed, distorted facial features, including exposed, uneven teeth and textured skin. Darkened eye areas and hollowed tones enhance a sunken, unsettling gaze, while the pale wig and dishevelled styling add to the sense of neglect and otherworldly presence.
